What is this?

A webring for UK Arts and Crafts, where you can find UK based web sites with information, events, galleries and articles for sale. This ring is intended to promote individually produced Art and Crafts from the UK.

What are the rules?

I'll try to keep these simple and to a minimum:
The website must meet the above statement and be family friendly (no hatred, profanity, adult content, etc........).

The webring navigation bar must be accessible. That is any visitors arriving via the webring and exploring your site must be able to return easily to the navbar to continue their journey through the ring.

Keep the navigation code on your site, the system will suspend any site that removes the code and I will take this as your request to close your membership to the ring.

How do I find out more about webrings?

To find out what webrings are, see here.

Webring also has comprehensive help and support pages
here.  These are available as you go through the process.

Then there is the web ring user guide
here.  I recommend this easy to follow resource.

What do I need to join?

A UK based website for Arts and Crafts individually produced in the UK.

A webring ID. New users can click
here.

Be logged in to your Webring account. Click
here to do this if you're not already logged in.

Submit your site for review.  Make sure you have the NavBar code in place on the URL you are sending in.

How do I know my site has been accepted?

You'll receive an e-mail to acknowledge your submission and this will provide you with the initial findings of a site test.

When I have reviewed your site, you'll receive another e-mail with the results.

Please read these e-mails carefully for any further instructions. If your site is declined for not meeting the theme of the ring or content is judged inappropriate you can use the contact ringmaster facility on Webring to POLITELY explain why you disagree. I'm human and can miss things. BUT also remember ringmasters own their rings and have the right to choose what is acceptable and what isn't.
